From recording to post-production
Learn the differences between peak level, perceived loudness, and leveling over time, and how LevelUp Audio processes sound with quality preservation in mind.

Read guide →The tool reduces volume differences, but cannot make every sound identical or guarantee natural results for every recording. Excessive processing can also boost noise and game audio. Microphone recordings are processed more actively; mixed audio is treated more gently.
The safety limit is 1.5 GiB (about 1.61 GB) per file. On supported devices, files are read in chunks and intermediate results are saved to temporary browser storage on your device. There is no fixed five-minute limit; available space and processing speed are checked. Without temporary storage support, processing falls back to memory and the recommended range becomes smaller. Actual results depend on your browser, device, and codec.
Large-file test results are being prepared.
The original file is never overwritten. H.264 and HEVC video is exported as MP4; VP8, VP9, and AV1 video is exported as WebM, without re-encoding the picture. Audio in the resulting video is re-encoded as AAC or Opus. Only one selected video track and one audio track are included. Subtitles, extra tracks, and some metadata are not preserved. Video previews may be limited if your browser cannot play the video.
Processing focuses on volume changes, without noise removal, voice synthesis, or tone-changing filters. The targets are −16 LUFS average loudness and −1.5 dBTP true peak. Depending on the recording and processing strength, results may not reach these targets exactly. At 0%, no volume processing is applied.

The service currently requires no sign-up or payment and contains no ads. Files are not uploaded. Intermediate results may remain in temporary browser storage on your device and are cleaned up when you choose another file or reset your work. After an interrupted session, temporary jobs older than 24 hours are cleaned up on a later visit. You can also delete them by clearing your browser's site data.
